Echoes Weather (home screen name: Echoes) is a weather app for iPhone and iPad. Echoes Weather LLC builds and sells it.

The app shows official U.S. weather data on a live map. The website at https://www.echoeswx.com is the product site. It also hosts a live NEXRAD radar demo at https://www.echoeswx.com/radar/.

## What Echoes is not

- Echoes is not an official NWS or NOAA product.
- Echoes is not a substitute for official weather warnings. In severe weather, use more than one source and follow local officials.
- Echoes is not related to other apps or products with similar names.
- Echoes is not a general global weather app. It is built around the U.S. NEXRAD network and NWS products.

## Data sources

Echoes displays data from NOAA, NWS, NHC, and EPA. It does not invent forecasts or warnings.

- NEXRAD Level 2 and Level 3 radar from the National Weather Service. Sites update every 4 to 10 minutes, depending on scan mode.
- 75+ radar products, including reflectivity, velocity, dual-pol, and precipitation type.
- MRMS national radar mosaic.
- GOES-19 (East) and GOES-18 (West) satellite. 36 products across Pacific, CONUS, and Atlantic.
- NWS severe weather alerts with polygon overlays and push notifications.
- SPC convective and fire weather outlooks.
- WPC flood outlooks and NWS Significant River Flood Outlook.
- NHC hurricane cone, track, watches and warnings, bulletins, and Tropical Weather Outlook.
- EPA AirNow air quality.
- Weather station observations (28,000+ stations).
- Spotter Network positions.
- User community storm reports.

NEXRAD sites under maintenance can leave a gap. Try a nearby site if one radar is stale.

The app is free to download.

Free tier includes 75+ Level 2 and Level 3 radar products, NWS alerts with push notifications, SPC outlooks, MRMS composites, hurricane cone and track, hourly and 10-day forecasts, AirNow air quality, Spotter Network, and community reports.

Echoes Premium is $2.99 per month or $24.99 per year. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. You manage or cancel the subscription in Apple ID settings.
